First Lady Jill Biden coming to Grand Rapids [Video]

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — First Lady Jill Biden is making a stop in Grand Rapids next week. 

Biden is welcomed by three organizations hosting the event: The Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation, First Ladies Association for Research and Education and American University’s School of Public Affairs.

“Our three organizations are dedicated to expanding knowledge of the first ladies, who form a remarkable and unified club in American history. Their experiences and insights have enriched our nation immeasurably,” said Gleaves Whitney, executive director of the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation.

Biden has championed the first-ever White House Initiative on Women’s Health Research. 

“We are so proud to host First Lady Jill Biden as we highlight another remarkable first lady, our own Betty Ford,” Whitney said.
