FURVENT: furmonertinib in EGFR exon 20 mutant NSCLC [Video]

Alexander Spira, MD, Next Oncology-Virginia VCS, Fairfax, VA, provides an overview of the ongoing Phase III FURVENT trial (NCT05607550) of furmonertinib, a brain-penetrant EGFR exon 20 inhibitor, in advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with EGFR exon 20 insertions. The trial aims to further evaluate its efficacy and safety compared to platinum-based chemotherapy, and builds on existing data such as Phase III PAPILLON trial (NCT04538664) of amivantamab plus chemotherapy.
