In January 2021, Janaé discovered she had stage 2 breast cancer as a result of a routine screening mammogram. In May that same year, she rang the bell at the cancer center and was cancer free. Knowing that a simple, 15-minute mammogram saved her life, Janaé has become an advocate for women’s health and encourages women everywhere to get this important screening. “It’s 15 minutes and it’s so easy to go and get one.” Women from all over the US have shared their upcoming mammogram dates with Janaé and she has made it her mission to help remind them, encourage them, and pray for them as they get this important screening.
