Jimmy Fund patients get red carpet treatment at ‘Disney on Ice’ [Video]

Patients from the Jimmy Fund Clinic at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston were the stars of the show before the first of a dozen “Disney on Ice” performances at TD Garden.Those pediatric cancer patients and their siblings wore their favorite Disney costumes as they walked the red carpet Wednesday evening before getting the chance to meet one of Disney’s biggest stars, Minnie Mouse.Grace Markos and her doll were both dressed up as Mirabel Madrigal, the main character from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ hit musical film “Encanto.””The only time we ever come into the city is to come in for Grace for her treatments, so coming in for a different reason and enjoying it is an exciting thing,” said Michael Markos, Grace’s father. “(Grace and her brothers) were waiting in the car when I got home from work to make sure they could get here as fast as they could.”The Jimmy …
