Meet Dr. Matthew Schindler, Neurologist [Video]

Matthew Schindler, MD, PhD, is a neurologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of multiple sclerosis (MS) and related disorders. He has a patient-first approach emphasizing the importance of listening to patients’ stories and health history. Dr. Schindler couples this with his neurologic diagnostic and MRI research experience to diagnose and manage MS effectively. He also works in the Neuro COVID Clinic where he evaluates and cares for patients with COVID related neurological symptoms.

“The way I approach patient care is by first listening to their story,” says Dr. Schindler. “And that’s the most important part in neurology really…getting the very fine details, specifics of the symptoms, and what they’re going through. Then doing the neurologic exam and putting these two together.”
