Olivia Munn sent a message of thanks to Kate, Princess of Wales after she revealed her cancer diagnosis in a video posted to the Prince and Princess of Wales official Instagram account on Friday.

“Thank you for showing what it’s like to fight with grace and determination for yourself and for your family. Wishing you all the best,” Olivia wrote in the comments.

Her message for the Princess of Wales comes just one week after Olivia told her fans that she had been diagnosed with cancer herself.

“I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I hope by sharing this it will help others find comfort, inspiration and support on their own journey,” Olivia captioned a photo of herself in a hospital bed and gown.

“I went from feeling completely fine one day, to waking up in a hospital bed after a 10-hour surgery the next,” Olivia shared. “I’m lucky. We caught it with enough time that I had options.”
