Strictly Come Dancing star Amy Dowden has landed a new presenting role on ITV‘s  Lorraine. 

The dancer, 33, said she was ‘delighted’ and ‘couldn’t wait to get started’ following the toughest year of her life after being diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2023, before being told there was ‘no evidence of the disease’ on Friday. 

Amy, who already presents BBC‘s Dare To Dance, will according to The Mirror present celeb interviews and behind-the-scenes content.

She told the publication: ‘I’m delighted to join the Lorraine family and can’t wait to be part of the brilliant team of presenters on the show. 

‘It’s been a tough year but this is something I’m so excited about and can’t wait to get started’.
