Taylor Swifts touching act for girl with terminal cancer at night one of Sydney The Eras Tour shows [Video]

A young girl with cancer had her dying wish come true when she met Taylor Swift at the star’s first concert in Sydney.

Nine-year-old Scarlett is terminally ill with brain cancer and was given only 12 to 18 months left to live.

Her family took to social media to score the young Swiftie tickets to the star’s sold-out Sydney shows.

“For those that may share this that are not aware, Scarlett is battling an aggressive brain tumour and was granted a ‘wish’ but her wish to meet Taylor Swift was not possible through Make a Wish Foundation,” family member Paul Oliver wrote online.

Oliver said his “strong, beautiful girl” was “beyond excited” ahead of Friday night’s show.

And Swift delivered a night that was more than the nine-year-old could have hoped for.
